Ballyhackamore is on the Upper Newtownards Road and is only a few miles away from Belfast City Centre.

Ballyhackamore is arguably the liveliest location in East Belfast and boasts a long-standing reputation of having a close-knit community.

Local Amenities

Just off Ballyhackamore is the iconic Cyprus Avenue, which played host to legendary Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison. Van Morrison famously wrote the song 'Cyprus Avenue' in 1968 and in August 2015 celebrated his 70th birthday in style, setting up stage at the end of Cyprus Avenue and playing two exclusive concerts for both the residents of Cyprus Avenue and special guests from all over the world.

In the opposite direction, the Stormont Estate is a short five to ten-minute walk away from Ballyhackamore. Throughout Stormont there is a children's play park open to the public 7 days a week, a coffee shop, the parliament buildings, two football/rugby pitches, a cricket square, 3G football pitches and a gymnasium.
