The Ards Shopping Centre is within close proximity to the residents of Dundonald and provides High Street retailers, chemists, fast-food eateries, coffee shops and leading British supermarket retailer ASDA, combining popular retail outlets and everyday essentials.

There are a number of local bus routes that commute into the city centre and also Newtownards and beyond. The Metro services 4a, 4b and 4c provide an efficient service, with buses running every 12-15 minutes and taking an arterial route into the city centre.

This service is extremely accommodating, not only for businessmen and women, but for school children and pensioners as well. The Ulsterbus service also operates throughout Dundonald, travelling towards the likes of Newtownards and Bangor.
