Michael Chandler Estate Agents have committed to helping the Academy Primary School in Saintfield buy 10 interactive whiteboards worth a total of £30,000, as part of The Michael Chandler School Project.

Michael Chandler commented: “It is with immense excitement and pride that we launch and embark upon this exciting project alongside Academy Primary School.

“We understand the importance of giving back and investing significantly in the community, particularly in our schools. In return for engaging with and supporting a local business, The Academy will benefit from vital funding that will ultimately aid their pupils’ learning.

“As the first venture of its kind in Northern Ireland, we hope to grow The Michael Chandler School Project in the future by increasing its funding and working with other schools across Northern Ireland.”

For every 10 houses that Michael Chandler Estate Agents sell in conjunction with Academy Primary School, they will purchase a new interactive whiteboard for the school worth £3,000 each.

Stephen Moore, principal, Academy Primary School added: “We are delighted to become the first primary school in Northern Ireland to work in partnership with Michael Chandler and his team, and to contribute to such an important and worthwhile project.

“We are extremely grateful to Michael Chandler Estate Agents for their generosity and support, and I have no doubt that The Academy will reap the rewards of the partnership.

“I would urge the wider school community in Northern Ireland to get involved in The School Project, particularly at a time of financial austerity.”
